On the surface, Cornelius Young is a dynamic, thoughtful, compassionate, accomplished, team-oriented leader and well-respected Property Manager who has been in the Property Management/Real Estate industry since 1995.

He is experienced and has independent knowledge of conventional and tax-credit housing in both residential and apartments living. He has a proven track record of managing and developing substantial growth across complex mixed high and low properties. Cornelius has built marketing partnerships with a consistent record of increasing occupancy and profitability while decreasing delinquency. He has comprehensive skills in management, customer service and human resources. Adept at improving retention and satisfaction with outstanding presentation, leadership, and communication skills. He believes that leadership has nothing to do with having power over someone; it's about using your influence to inspire and empower your team to achieve the impossible.

During his long tenure in Property Management/Real Estate, he has obtained a few certifications along the way. He is an Assisted Housing Manager (AHM) which he was certified in 2009 through Quadel Consulting, Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) in 2013 through the National Apartment Association (NAA) and also attended school at Middleton Real Estate and obtain a certificate of completion in 2013 and shortly after he was license through the State of Michigan as a Real Estate agent. For 18+ years he has received certificates for the completion of fair housing training. He has also been a Michigan Notary Public since 2013.

Outside of being devoted to his work full-time in the Property Management/Real Estate industry, Cornelius is a part-time basketball referee who also enjoys weight training, training his daughter to play basketball and traveling to her basketball tournaments on the weekend.
